Professors Warnick and Jeffs hosted an all-day workshop on October 24 on Phased Array Antenna Modeling and Signal Processing. Attendees from South Africa, India, Canada, China, Australia, and the U.S. used hands-on modeling codes developed by Warnick and Jeffs to learn state-of-the-art techniques for modeling and designing advanced antenna systems for astronomy, sattelite communications, and other areas. The workshop falls under the umbrella of the Software Enabled Radio Astronomy (SERA) Consortium co-founded by Warnick and Jeffs. More information is available at http://seraproject.org/.
