  3. New Student Orientation: Join our New Student Orientation in September or January for a comprehensive introduction to your graduate journey. It's a great opportunity to get acclimated and make connections.
  4. Credit Requirements: To remain a graduate student at BYU, ensure enrollment in a minimum of 6 credits annually. In your graduation semester, register for at least 2 credits. If you're involved in research or serving as a teaching assistant, the norm is typically two classes per semester. International students are required to register for 9 credits each semester.
  5. Graduate System - Grad Prog: Most of your graduate requirements, including tracking progress, will be managed through our Grad Prog system. Accessible at gradprogress.sim.byu.edu, the system opens at the beginning of each semester when you start classes. Stay updated and organized with this valuable tool.
