Congratulations, Jackson Guthrie! Jackson won third place in this year's campus-wide Student Employee of the Year award for his contributions in the BYU EPICenter. The award recognizes outstanding student employee work, which Jackson has demonstrated through his exceptional leadership and establishing the EPICenter's electroplating process. His supervisors Enoch Boekweg and Tomoo Taguchi shared the news during a surprise celebration for Jackson this week.
When asked about his employee, Boekweg said, "Jackson has been instrumental in transforming our PCB fabrication process at the EPICenter. Through his work refining our milling procedures, leading the implementation of electroplating, and training other students, we can now produce significantly higher-quality PCBs in a fraction of the time and cost. The growth in PCB orders is a direct reflection of the impact he has made.
"Beyond his technical contributions, Jackson is proactive, dependable, and deeply invested in helping others succeed. He takes true ownership of the fabrication process and is always looking for ways to improve documentation, training, and overall quality, making him an invaluable member of the EPICenter team."
