But what happens when you're miles from the nearest power grid? This is a reality for many professionals, and can greatly hinder efficiency, when they are unable to power their tools, complete paperwork, or have a climate controlled space for extreme weather.

Sam Craven Takes Home Top Prize at BYU 3 Minute Thesis

Congratulations to Sam Craven, an Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate student, for taking first place in the BYU 3 Minute Thesis competition! After winning both the Department and College-level competitions, Craven claimed the top prize at the University level.

Cybersecurity is the application of defense principles to protect our data, our information systems, and all of our information from hackers, malicious users and foreign governments. The IT & Cybersecurity Program offers a Masters Degree program. The program is ideal for IT&C professionals and those who have recently completed a technical undergraduate degree who are anxious to delve deep into a specific area of IT&C.
