Capstone

Capstone is a two-semester Product Design course required for all seniors in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Historically, Capstone at BYU has involved the ME and MET students with a handful of ECE students working on projects on a voluntary basis. Beginning Fall 2017, all ECE students will be required to complete Capstone.

The heart of the Capstone course is an industry-sponsored or humanitarian project that teams of 6-8 students will complete over the two semesters. These projects are multidisciplinary projects that may involve electrical, computer, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering principles.

Capstone is an exciting opportunity to not only use the skills you've already learned, but also to learn new skills that can help launch your career or graduate school experience. For more information about Capstone, visit the Capstone website.
