Have you ever wondered what the professors in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department are researching? Well, you don’t have to wonder anymore! Every third Friday of the month means an exciting new video featuring a professor and their research on our YouTube channel. Tech Talks range in topics from how AI, Vision, and Robotics work together to advanced 3-D printing for lab-on-a-chip devices.
In Tech Talks, professors share their research and focus on topics they are passionate about. In our most recent Tech Talk, Dr. Derek Hansen talked about human-centered design research. Hansen’s research centers on understanding and designing social technologies, tools, and games that can help people learn. His presentation dove into what tools designers use, how they use technology, and what practices designers implement in the field of computing.
There’s something for everyone, and a new topic each month. So, don’t forget to tune into our upcoming livestream to hear what’s happening in engineering research at BYU!
Tech Talks are live streamed at noon the third Friday of every month, and you can find all of them on our YouTube channel.
