Dr. Greg Nordin was awarded a Karl G. Maeser Research and Creative Arts Award at this year’s University Conference.

The university-wide award is a huge honor and commends three faculty members each year for “outstanding research and creative accomplishments” according to the conference program.

The program noted his work in 3D printing for microfluidics and micro- and nano-fabricated devices for biosensing, photonics, and microelectromechanical systems. It also noted that he has led many large research programs and has been the principal investigator on research grants from government and industry totaling $18 million.
