Dr. Michael Rice, a distinguished faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for over three decades, has been selected to receive the prestigious 2023 IEEE Aerospace and Electronics Systems Society (AESS) Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his exceptional leadership and remarkable contributions to the field.

Dr. Rice has been an active member of IEEE for 40 years, during which he has made significant contributions.
