Biography
Allyson Gibson serves as the External Relations Manager and Capstone Coordinator for the department, where many years ago she earned her BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering. In this role, she supports the Capstone program by building relationships with industry sponsors and coordinating projects that give students hands-on experience solving real-world engineering challenges. She works closely with companies, faculty, and students to ensure each project delivers meaningful value for both students and sponsors.
Allyson is passionate about creating opportunities that connect classroom learning with industry needs, helping students gain the skills and confidence to launch their careers.
Outside of work, she enjoys nature photography and spending time with her family while enthusiastically keeping up with her grandchildren’s latest adventures.
