I have purposely stayed in hardware design through my career. I've designed pagers, cell phones, avionics, portable printers, handheld computers, barcode scanners, RFID systems, and IOT devices. My most unique job was to design a deep submergence vehicle that takes up to 5 people at a time to 4000 meters underwater. I was on the team that took the submarine to the Titanic.
