I work with a company that builds test equipment. The product line I work with measures the performance of optical transceivers used in data centers. In my current job, I work with customers to determine what we need to build for future needs, determine with the R&D team what will get built, and once it is built, help our customers know what we have done and how to use it. I also represent the company on the IEEE 802.3 standards to define the specs and measurement methods for new Ethernet standards. I have worked in technical marketing since 1990. Before that I worked in microwave subassembly manufacturing (1985-1989).
