I worked designing embedded processor systems for Magnavox after my graduation from BYU. I then proceeded to do analog design for telecommunications FAA systems. Next, I worked as a systems designer for physical security systems for US Navy installations including access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems. I then worked as a subject matter expert (SME) supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency as they upgraded Russian nuclear weapons storage sites throughout the Russian Federation. This also included consulting on various supporting systems for maintenance and upgrades. I have also worked in the electrical design sector for nuclear power plants, designing the installation of physical security systems, process computers, and cyber security monitoring systems. I am currently working as an SME consulting with the US Navy to assess utilities on their installations world wide. They are assessed for their risk to mission.
