During both my undergraduate and graduate programs at BYU, much of my coursework was focused on semiconductor physics and optics. I work as an Integration Engineer, which involves monitoring the health of current process nodes as well as designing the future processes. My focus is hardware and material science, rather than software and programming (though both aspects are critical to semiconductor manufacturing). I work work out of Intel's Oregon site. The Arizona location is very similar.
Feel free to reach out to me if you have questions about Intel or the semiconductor processing industry in general.
