Satellite Launch Targets New Directions for Students

Astronauts embark on spacewalks, lasting between five to eight hours, when the outside of their spacecraft may need repairs or as experiments are conducted, according to NASA’s website. The risks associated with spacewalks and other outer space activities can be minimized thanks to a new type of satellite created by students in BYU’s College of Engineering.

For the second year, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering hosted a Christmas party for students in the junior core. Organized in the events space in the Engineering Building, the party welcomed the majority of the students in the Junior Core.

The IT & Cybersecurity Program offers a Masters Degree program. The program is ideal for IT&C professionals and those who have recently completed a technical undergraduate degree who are anxious to delve deep into a specific area of IT&C.
